Excellent handmade souvenir box. The rectangular frame is meticulously lined with red leather and a type of parchment made of calfskin. The cover has an illustration designed by Federico Carandini.

Since 1991, Paolo Carandini has been creating pieces in leather and calfskin, exhibiting annually at major fairs such as Maison & Objet and Ambiente. In 2000, Carandini opened a shop in Florence and began using parchment, which became the star of the Boxes of Wonder collection, in which, like a book, each box tells a story through images on parchment.

Dimensions: 10cm wide x 6.3cm long x 3.5cm high.
